About the Benefactor

Charles I. Passe

Charles Ignatius Passe had two life goals: to succeed in business and to provide scholarships for vocational, trade, and technology students—and he achieved both.

A graduate of St. Felix High School in Wabasha, Minnesota, Charles attended Dunwoody Vo-Tech in Minneapolis. He co-owned FI Products Company, offering decorating and painting services. After a successful career in Minnesota, he retired to Tucson in 1968 and later moved to Mesa, where he crafted novelty wood products sold locally and in California.

In 1994, he established the Charles I. Passe Endowment. After his passing in 2000, his scholarships began helping Christ the King Parish students pursue their dreams.

Christ the King Parish gratefully honors his generosity, thoughtfulness, and spirit of stewardship.
